Faith

I believe this is the most important thing in life, regardless of who you are, where you come from, what you look like, or what you do. I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord; He came to earth, He died on the cross for our sins, and rose again for everyone. I believe in the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit; I am a Christian. I certainly am not out to “convert” anyone or shove my “religion” down people’s throats. I actually don’t even like the word religion, and I don’t consider myself religious. I simply have a relationship with God and believe what the bible teaches. The bible teaches us that we should love. I believe I can talk to you about my beliefs in love, but if I am condemning/judging you for what you do or believe, then that simply is not a loving thing to do. Only God can really change someone’s heart, not people. I do not think it is my job to tell you what to do, but I do feel it is important to share with you my experiences and how Jesus Christ has changed my life. Take it or leave it, the decision is all yours! I simply could not share my happiness, health and fitness advice leaving out the most important piece. Therefore, you are free to be you and I am free to be me; lets love, appreciate & respect one another.

If you want to bear good fruit in your life (great results in everything you do), the Bible teaches us in John 15:4-7 to connect ourself to the Lord. Make your home with the Lord. He is a Gentleman, He won’t come in uninvited. Invite Him to come along side of you and guide you on this journey. Without His help, you can’t bear lasting fruit in your life. And no, you can’t just go to the grocery store to pick up this kind of fruit.Without God, life will be a constant struggle. There will always be that emptiness and frustration when things aren’t going as planned. Let me put it this way: you were born with a purpose. God wants you to succeed in everything you do. Just as a fruit tree was made to produce fruit, you were made for a specific reason. Without growing fruit, a fruit tree would not be fulfilling its real purpose. It might be pretty to look at, but at the end of the day, if I can’t pick an orange from an orange tree, it really is not doing its God given job. The roots of a tree need to reach down into the earth to provide “food” for the tree to grow. In a sense, the tree would be dead without the roots. If you plant yourself in God’s truth and use HIM as your food source, I can’t even begin to tell you the places He will take you. Once you are connected to God, whatever your true purpose and plan that God has for you will come to pass. It is not maybe or might. Put your faith in Him and watch how much fruit you bear!
